Microsoft has announced an investment of PLN 2.8 billion (approximately €600 million) by June 2026 to expand cloud and artificial intelligence infrastructure in Poland. This investment aims to strengthen existing data center campuses, offering an expanded range of Azure services to meet the growing demand of customers in the region. Additionally, Microsoft will collaborate with the Polish Ministry of National Defense to establish a framework for strengthening national cybersecurity. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk emphasized that this investment is a significant step towards the country’s future, improving security and providing young Poles with access to cutting-edge technologies.
